This replacement gas heater is required for an existing gas pressure reduction station to compensate for the temperature drop caused by the Joule-Thomson effect.

This heater was originally designed and supplied by Robox in 1994. The client requested a replacement for the existing heater according to current laws, regulations, and standards, fitting within the existing unit.

This concerns a Shell & Tube heat exchanger. A one-pass shell with a removable U-tube bundle and removable bonnet header. TEMA type BEU 273/1000, fully constructed in carbon steel. Designed and built according to PED cat.IV/Mod H1 + ASME VIII div.1 and TEMA B.
