In the condenser, gaseous LNG is condensed using liquid cold LNG.
Our client designs, builds, finances, operates, and maintains public and private filling stations for LNG, CNG, green gas, hydrogen, and electric charging points for businesses and governments. A compact LNG condenser is required for an LNG filling station system to ensure the installation operates efficiently. To minimize the risk of leaks, a fully sealed construction without flanges and gaskets is preferred. Stainless steel was chosen due to the low design temperature of -196°C. Within these constraints, ROBOX created a compact thermal design using HTRI. By applying mechanical expertise, this was implemented in a closed design. This condenser has since been implemented in several filling stations.
