An air-cooled gas condenser is required for the maintenance of an existing installation. This provides the necessary cooling/condensation of the process gas stream.
Cooling is achieved by means of an Air Cooler. In this process, the product is cooled using ambient air. To increase the surface area, fins have been applied to the tubes. Since this involves the replacement of an existing bundle, it must be designed according to current standards and regulations, fit within the existing dimensions, and performance must not be compromised. To verify the dimensions, ROBOX performed on-site measurements.
This concerns an Air Cooler. A multi-pass high fin tube bundle with removable cover plate type headers, type CHFC 6/6500×2490 with SS316(L) tubes and headers made of carbon steel according to PED cat.IV/Mod.G, ASME VIII div.1 and API661 (ISO13706).
