Carbon dioxide cooler and heater

This involves a CO2 heater and cooler. Heating is performed using steam, and cooling is achieved with cooling water. Heating is necessary for proper operation to ensure the CO2 in the supercritical range provides effective dyeing of the textiles. After the dyeing process, the CO2 must be cooled down again in the CO2 cooler.

Following successful lab-scale tests, our client decided to develop a full-scale waterless dyeing machine for textiles. The process represents a breakthrough in the textile world. The current dyeing process consumes 125 liters of water per kilo of textile. By utilizing supercritical CO2, this consumption can be reduced to zero. The CO2 in the machine is recycled internally and reused for multiple cycles. This technology signifies the end of unnecessary consumption of precious water and the associated pollution. Particularly in countries where dye houses are located, this water consumption and pollution pose a major problem. Major brands such as Nike, Adidas, and Ikea have since backed this technology, and the industry is heading toward a sustainable future.
