This compressor manufacturer normally builds the heat exchangers in-house. However, they had no experience with the European market and PED. Therefore, they sought a reliable partner in Europe. Based on the existing drawings and in consultation with the manufacturer, ROBOX created a design and manufactured the heat exchangers.
These are Shell & Tube heat exchangers. A 1-pass shell and 3- and 4-pass tube side respectively. Fixed tubesheets without bellows. Removable covers, TEMA type BEM. Gas and Lube oil cooler are stacked. This set was executed twice, with mirrored connections. Combination of CS and SS304(L) according to PED cat.IV/Mod.H1 and ASME BPVC VIII.
