Cooling is achieved by means of an Air Cooler. In this process, the TEG is cooled using ambient air. To increase the surface area, fins are attached to the tubes, and to enhance heat transfer, wire mesh inserts are placed inside the tubes.
Our client is supplying a glycol unit for the offshore gas field project. The Lean TEG cooler is part of this unit.
This concerns an Air Cooler. A multi-pass high finned (aluminum fins) bundle with plug type headers, type PHFP 4 / 3050 x 1130. Entirely in carbon steel according to PED cat.II/Mod A1, ASME VIII Div.1, API 661 (ISO13706), and client specifications.
